@donmcgowan Denyer has taken a leave of absence as a fully paid MP, Bull has stepped down from a non MP role. He wasn't paid from the public purse unlike Denyer who still gets paid, right ? RIGHT ?

Two wee questions struck me about David Bull's sudden departure from Reform UK's top team. Firstly, I have to assume that all of those right-wing trolls who berated Carla Denyer for taking a break due to burnout, are applying the same rigorous slatings to Bull. Right? RIGHT?🤦‍♂️ Secondly, who's stepping down in Suffolk for Bull to be elected in their place? To the best of my knowledge, there is no vacancy in Suffolk. There are eight MPs, and I don't think any of them are ready to call a by-election any time soon. Is David Bull channelling the ghost of Derek Acorah to predict political outcomes?

Trades Union Congress
Reform-led Durham council cut off funding to the annual Pride celebrations. So trade unions launched a fundraiser to save it, eventually raising more money than was cut. Which means this year's Pride will be bigger than ever. In the 1980s, the LGBT+ community raised thousands of pounds to help striking miners and their families. When we stick up for each other, we can achieve anything.

@JackWDart Reform are not interested in democracy. voting would be one of the 1st things they would get rid of, if in power. Elections are just publicity to recruit more street thugs & funders.

Reform has lost 26 officials in nineteen days since the local elections. A suspended councillor described his own Reform group as like Mussolini’s government. In Cornwall, Reform has lost a quarter of its elected councillors since May 2025. Farage says they have the best vetting in Britain. Evidently not.

@Simon_Nixon Spot on. Tony Blair’s claim that Britain shouldn’t move closer to Europe while economically weak is historically illiterate. We joined the EEC in 1973 from a position of weakness and it was the right strategic choice. Delaying action on Single Market access only deepens the Brexit drag. Waiting for some mythical future strength is a recipe for permanent decline. We need a leader prepared to face reality on Europe, not more Blairite denial dragging us towards USA vassalage.
Simon Nixon@Simon_Nixon

As a simple matter of history, this from Tony Blair is plain wrong. The last time Britain entered a structured relationship with Europe, it was for a position of economic weakness. Rejoining should be part of any coherent domestic strategy, as Labour is starting to acknowledge

While Farage pockets millions as a "reward" for Brexit, the rest of us are left with soaring energy bills, political chaos and a broken economy. He only cares about himself and his wealthy donors. It is up to all of us to make sure he never becomes prime minister.

I have so much admiration for Keir Starmer in the face of such continued onslaught by the media. Quite simply, he doesn’t deserve it, and a pity that so many cannot see the wood for the trees, so to speak. Inexorably, he is turning this country around, and that’s not something you do easily or overnight. It’s been less than 2 years for fuck sakes. We need to stick with him. Now is ABSOLUTELY NOT the time for a change of Prime Minister. End of. @UKLabour #StandWithStarmer #StickWithStarmer #BackOffBurnham, you disloyal and silly little opportunist, you. x.com/kitbradshaw/st…

Rejoining the EU will deliver what Brexit failed to deliver Life in Britain will improve as trade is freed up, food will become cheaper and more varied again. More opportunities for Brits to travel, work study across the EU - and our pets too will get their passports back.
