Battlefield 6 war der erfolgreichste Launch der Serien-Geschichte und deswegen feuert EA jetzt Entwickler bei allen Studios, die daran mitgearbeitet haben. Ich kann mir echt nicht vorstellen wie unsäglich es gerade sein muss, in dieser Branche zu arbeiten.

I Said them that sending out Steamkeys via Twitter DMs worked great for me and I also Sent out hundreds of Steamkeys via email and wrote a press release when the Demo for paddle paddle paddle launched. Their only answer was: But what if it does not work for me and I get no reply? No one knows that and we still do it all and hope for the best 😂🙏 if you go in with such a mindset, then just don’t be an Indiedev and maybe work at a AAA Company…

With AI everyone thought the artists and the writers would be the first to go, but in fact it was the programmers first. people try using AI all the time for art and it still seems no one knows how to implement it, and the reason that is, is because they don't have taste.

Following the announcement of Ubisoft's restructuring and third round of cost-cutting measures, Ubisoft's internal communication channels are full of employees shaming upper management and asking for change. It's quite something seeing people very openly criticising a company they work for to such an extent, but after years of struggle, it's not surprising. Some employee's tell me that this was the final nail in the coffin for them, and that they will be seeking employment elsewhere, and others have decided to fast-track their already existing contingency plans in case they were laid off. More have taken to LinkedIn to publically announce they are now looking for work, despite still having a job at the company. Ubisoft is going to experience a massive exodus of talent, even without the impending layoffs.
