@ShoahUkraine I’m repeating myself here but gotta say that one last time, mate, stay with the historical content… > In a communist country her rapists would have been publicly executed Literally the largest mass rape in human history was perpetrated by a communist regime

Euthanasia programs are the Aktion T4 of our time. There is no greater evil than this. I genuinely hate liberal politicians like Pedro Sanchez, probably more than Hitler. In a communist country, her rapists would have been publicly executed, and she would have received any support she needed for as long as necessary.

Germans heavily used puppies and cats in propaganda videos to show how nice and cool everything is on the eastern front. For example, here is a video of a Tiger tank with a puppy advancing unopposed at Kursk in July 1943. But obviously, the reality in Kursk was really different, and the Germans were just massacred.

There was no ideological conflict on the Western Front. The Americans and the British went to war with Germany once Hitler became a rival to their global hegemony. However, on the Eastern Front it was an ideological battle between fascism and communism. The Soviets wanted to defeat the capital and its German henchmen, and they did.

@Addictoftweets @ShoahUkraine It’s funny that you come up with such a vast and ridiculous oversimplification as “nazis hated capitalism bc capitalism jewish” and still continue to tweet “just confess that you know nothing about history” only seconds later. lmao

The Hanseatic League solved commercial disputes for 400 years without a single government court, police force, or regulatory agency—and they did it better than any modern state system. From 1159 to 1669, German merchants spanning from London to Novgorod created the most sophisticated private arbitration network in history. When a Hamburg trader accused a Lübeck merchant of breach of contract, they didn't petition some distant king or wait months for bureaucratic tribunals. They brought their dispute before merchant courts staffed by actual businessmen who understood trade, contracts, and reputation. These arbitrators rendered decisions within days, not years. The enforcement mechanism? Pure market discipline. The League maintained detailed records of every merchant's behavior and shared this information across all member cities. Cross a Hanseatic trader in Bergen, and you'd find yourself blacklisted from Riga to Bruges within weeks. No bailiffs, no jackbooted enforcers, no violence—just the inexorable power of reputation and voluntary association. And it worked spectacularly. The League dominated Northern European commerce for half a millennium precisely because merchants trusted their dispute resolution more than royal courts. But here's what modern lawyers and judges will never tell you: the Hanseatic system resolved disputes faster, cheaper, and more accurately than contemporary government courts. Why? Because the arbitrators actually understood commerce and faced real consequences for bad decisions. Screw up a ruling as a Hanseatic arbitrator, and merchants would stop using your services. Screw up as a federal judge today, and you get lifetime tenure. The League died when centralized nation-states crushed private governance with military force, not because their system failed. Every blockchain arbitration platform and private dispute resolution service today merely rediscovers what German merchants perfected 800 years ago.

Most northern europeans, russians, germans and even danes aren't "nice" though. Its really only swedes norwegians and midwesteners who are muted, consensus oriented for some reason
Hereward the Woke@BamaExpat

Midwestern Nice derives from centuries of Northern European peasants developing helpful relationships with everyone in the village so they don’t all freeze to death. Southern politesse is about not accidentally starting a blood feud or a duel.

@FistedFoucault This is what I’ve been thinking about Europe, not because of views like yours, but the dumb energy choices and flaccid responses. Just not a worthy ally, making choices to be less worthy than ever before, then complaining that US won’t travel down the same shitter.

@Zeedub85 @HomericFuturist @Mio_Mind The French General Leclerc looked at them and asked them why they were wearing German uniforms. The soldiers bluntly replied “Why are you wearing an American one?” Leclerc had them shot on the spot although he later claimed his order was “misunderstood”
