That said, you - our community - have made it clear that this decision does not align what GeoGuessr stands for. So, when you tell us we’ve got it wrong we take it seriously. That’s why we’ve made the decision to withdraw from participating in the Esports World Cup in Riyadh. We will come back with information on how the wildcards will be distributed as soon as possible. We announced our new Rocket League streamer event yesterday! Not only are top streamers joining, but we’ve also teamed up with the competitive scene by bringing in coaches like ReaLize,Nunki and shaolon. The main event on March 20 is sure to attract a massive viewership. There’s even another huge streamer event this weekend (like a Japanese version of KC event ) featuring Rocket League, signaling a sudden Rocket League boom here in Japan. It might be tough to immediately impact the competitive scene, but we’re hoping this helps grow the Rocket League fanbase even more~
