@fxevolution This will be the US soon. The silver tsunami (and I say that with sympathy) is going to destroy housing for 20+ years. Maybe more if we don’t fix the fertility crisis NOW.

China's real estate market is continuing to slump. It has now erased the last 20 years of gains when accounting for inflation adjustment. The thing is this trend hasn't even stopped accelerating to the downside yet based on the current trend.

I’m even more bullish on $HOOD HOOD -7% on a 47% crypto revenue collapse. The bear take is obvious. Here’s why it’s actually bullish. Crypto revenue fell to $134M, down 47% YoY. Stock got punished. Story over, right? Look at what replaced it… → Event contracts revenue up 320% YoY to $147M, a record 8.8B contracts traded → Equities revenue +46%, options +8% → Total transaction revenue still grew despite crypto getting cut nearly in half The thesis was always that HOOD was a levered bet on crypto cycles. Q1 just proved the opposite. They absorbed a 47% hit to one of their biggest revenue lines and transaction revenue still went up. That’s not a crypto company anymore. That’s a diversified retail platform where prediction markets, options, and equities can carry the quarter when digital assets roll over. The market is pricing this like crypto weakness = HOOD weakness. But the correlation is breaking in real time. Subscription services and prediction markets are stepping into the lead role. Tenev’s still investing in crypto infrastructure for the next cycle, so you get the diversification plus the optionality when crypto comes back. Bear case… cyclical business missed estimates. Bull case… this was the stress test, and the new revenue mix passed it. Ima buyer of the post earnings de-rating.

@LukasBartke @pdicarlotrader $74 is a good entry if you’re in it for the long-term imo. Greed cuts both ways. Macro scares me more than $HOOD’s technicals.

$HOOD dumped -10% on earnings and we flagged it as a retail trap. Since the January bull top we’ve been in a bear cycle where most bounces get sold. In this video I break down the setup and how low I think $HOOD can go. Watch before your next trade.

Seen a lot of conversation about how predatory the American medical system is. So I will weigh in. I ended up going to the ER about 2 weeks ago for crippling pain. Turned out to be a ruptured ovarian cyst. I was there for MAYBE 4 hours. My bill? $13,500 dollars. Because I'm uninsured (by choice, that shit is a SCAM), the hospital dropped my bill down to $8,100 and some change as an "uninsured" discount. For starters, $13,500 for a 4 hour hospital visit is insane as it is. But the fact the hospital can wipe $5,000 off the bill "just because" should show you how utterly fucked this system is. And to be clear - $8,000 is still an absolutely insane sum of money when all these people did was scan my stomach and give me some pain killers. On my itemized bill, my CT scan was 7k. The iodine they used was $900. Just being in the ER room alone was $2,500. We phoned the hospital to haggle. They dropped the price by $20. Normal people can't survive this shit. I do okay and $8,000 is still an INSANE chunk of money out of my savings. Anyone who argues this isn't a disgusting, predatory system is crazy. And it is even crazier that Americans accept this. And for those of you who argue this is the free market, I need you to be quiet. There can never be a true free market here when government and insurance have their creepy little fingers in this pie. People shouldn't go bankrupt trying to pay medical bills. This has to change.

On the $HOOD Robinhood credit card, be careful redeeming. To get full 3% cash back value, the option for that requires scrolling down. I bet this is intentional, to deter it. Any other redemption option will be worth less. Statement credit does NOT equal 3%. Redeem to your brokerage account for full value via “cash back.”

@KingTimmy0629 Haha, this is why I always took around ~33% of every winning trade and put it into gold. Just trying to protect myself from my own stupidity. Glad you kept the $NBIS investment. Will give you some options to move things around later.

@Skulldrey I believe in them LONG term sure, the question isn’t that it’s whether my money is better elsewhere. Luckily half my portfolio was in $NBIS so I’m not completely fucked rn I have calls expiring in like three weeks or less which will free up a FUCK TON of cash. About 90k so

@KingTimmy0629 They recently initiated a buyback (likely expecting even lower prices). sucks that you bought in at the giga-top, but the big question is do you think $HOOD is here to stay? If the answer is yes the price is less relevant. Stay tough, dude!

@Skulldrey Months but the premiums can’t keep anywhere close to the losses. Made like 15-20 k in premiums. Haven’t sold any premium since earnings are very soon but that’s looking like a mistake. They will probably tank on earnings and I’m bag holding even longer. Smfh

@KingTimmy0629 I am in the same boat. Most of my capital is stuck in $HOOD because I bought back in at ~122 and ~133 thinking it was a good dip. I sold some other investments to fund this new activity, though. I'm still up all-time, though. So, anything I add at these levels feels good.

@Skulldrey Ur in a much different position than me. I made a ton on hood last year and bought heavy size way too high. I’ve given all my gains I made on it back and am down total on it now I’ve been in this trade for nearly a year now and it’s done nothing meanwhile MANY names ran 200%

@StockWorthyApp @antibearthesis Hold because it’s got a lot of retail interest and any real economic downturn is going to hurt - or create the impression of hurt - for the company because of its target consumer. Long-term it’s a buy, though.

@RobinhoodApp @TwoMindMoney This is a powerful moment for you guys to show that you’re truly with the retail investor by keeping costs negligible and resisting what I am sure is lots of pressure from the rest of the financial sector to budge on your principles. I believe in y’all!

@kayzywizzzy Probably blaming others or life circumstances for why they aren’t successful. Victimhood is a self-indulgent cycle that’s only so seductive because some people manage to actually benefit from it.
