@thsottiaux For the love of everything holy, please add some visibility for SKILLs and Agents that are in your user folders. It's insane that we have to look up the folders and manually navigate to those.

@CodeByPoonam Overly optimistic IMO. I say that as a futurist. Even if AI were capable of that in that timeframe, which I doubt, corporate America always lags years behind what's possible. Many companies are only now using tech that was available in 2008.

JUST IN: Microsoft’s AI chief just said most white-collar jobs will be automated in 18 months. Not 10 years. 18 months. Let that sink in.

@elonmusk Sadly, I think both parties incite violence. Every other word out of Trump's mouth is inciting rage and fueling anger. Politicians need to be replaced with AI. Honestly.

@johnennis Nobody is forgetting that. The goal is to eliminate the need to work to survive. Income doesn't have to come from a job. In a post-labor economy, you'll still be able to do what you love, but you'll do it because you love it. Not because it pays more than some other job.

@QueenAnticommie Research post-labor economics. The only thing that mst change is where cash is inserted into the system. $ might come from UBI paychecks to all citizens, or dividends from ownership... The system would collapse without an overhaul. It's guaranteed there will be one. Don't sweat.

@oprydai I'm blind from the caps! That out of the way, China's move is not altruistic, it's strategic. It has billions of people and very few robots in the army. They don't want revolution, waiting until AI can completely replace most jobs is smart. Then decouple $ from labor and give UBI

@sama Why on earth would you want to do that? Decoupling income from labor would be the greatest gift to humanity ever. That doesn't mean that people won't work. They'll just be free to pursue truly meaningful work instead of slaving to make someone rich.

@C_3C_3 I don't disagree, but our economy is in the toilet due to politicians addiction to deficit spending and a complete lack of fiscal responsibility. Illegals are causing a tiny fraction of the national debt in comparison. Redirect the anger to where it belongs. Musk tried to fix it.

@1ssve Paranoid boss read it as "terrorist training camp" Average boss reads it as "they couldn't get a job, what am I missing?" Savvy boss reads it as "they lack motivation/drive." Unlimited PTO boss reads it as "they're going to use a ton of time off."

@ClaytonTuckerTX Why not exploit them instead. Allow them to stay in Texas (horrible location due to temps, but hey), but require them to refine salt water, clean it, and release purified water to the state? It wouldn't be a hard concession. Datacenters recycle their water anyway.

@signulll I can't express how annoyed I am at Sam's choice of messaging to the white house. His flip flop messaging is probably one of the main reasons the WH is not organizing economists to figure out a post-labor economic transition plan. That failure will likely result in revolution.

fascinating to watch openai’s recent messaging pivot from ubi / job loss to optimism & job creation. stark contrast with what dario has communicated consistently. this now reads less like overall philosophy & more like positioning. once anthropic became a real contender, the narrative clearly needed contrast esp as the offerings are converging.

@Sierra_rak The beauty of AI is that for the first time in history, we'll actually be able to enjoy being humans. That will no longer be exclusive to the wealthy. People will still work, but they'll work on what they love because they love it. That is true freedom. Decouple wages from labor.

This is going to sound ridiculous but needs to be said. The future is HUMAN. Tech has us in a chokehold right now. It’s not sustainable. Why? Humans haven’t evolved at the pace of tech. Once the internet is full of AI, humans will leave and go outside . We’re not wired to interact with robots.

@plainionist Very true. The sooner in the development process that you can give AI feedback, the better it does. Getting AI to develop vertically instead of horizontally is a powerful change. Get solid testing from each layer UI -> business -> DB ASAP.

Giving an LLM a way to verify its work can improve quality by 3x. Examples: - rules-based feedback (tests, linters, strong compilers) - visual feedback (e.g., screenshots for UI tasks) - LLM-as-judge (a separate agent evaluates the output) What are you using? 🤔

@C_3C_3 That's propaganda, fact. Sorry, but if you're angry about economy and crime, then you need to look at the politicians (on both sides of the aisle.) They're deficit spending our country into poverty, they're exploiting their position to enrich themselves at our expense...
