He pressed his head against the cold floor, eyes full of confusion and heartbreak. Every time someone passed his kennel, he lifted his head hoping it was them. But the door never opened. He wasn’t aggressive. He wasn’t “broken.” He was devoted… and devastated. Dogs don’t just miss their owners. They grieve them like family. Because that’s what we are to them. Please… If you ever decide to bring a dog into your life, remember: To them, it’s forever. 💔

NYC girl brutally stomped by teen boy after refusing his advances was lucky to survive, distraught mom says — while calling for justice ──────────────── The horrified mother of a 15-year-old girl viciously slammed to the ground and stomped on by a teenage male said the horrific caught-on-camera attack followed weeks of harassment — and nearly killed her daughter. Lucinda Arroyo told The Post that the 14-year-old "bully" — who has since been jailed on assault charges — goes to school with her daughter and had long been bugging her in a bid for attention, leaving the girl stunned when the harassment turned violent Monday. “She’s very upset that her whole life has been completely flipped upside down right now,” the devastated mom said — noting her daughter suffered a concussion, bleeding and a potential brain injury during the shocking beatdown on an East Harlem street. . . . . . “The video was passed around like entertainment, and that pissed me off the most,” Arroyo said, adding that her daughter woke up in the ambulance after the attack and couldn’t believe what had just unfolded. “He just ran off and everybody’s just recording, everybody’s just looking at it while this was happening to her,” the distraught mom said. “He’s gotten in trouble before because it’s a pattern, he’s not going to stop. RANT: So I pay $1700 a month for Blue Cross insurance for myself and my daughter. My cardiologist is worried about this massive clot in my heart and scheduled a scan but I have to get another doctor that I have never met to approve it. He can't meet with me for six months. The way we pay for healthcare is broken.
