Our area has lost such a great lady with such a passion for teaching reading. I miss seeing her face around the traps 😢 thank you for organising this Skye.

It is with great sadness that I share that our beautiful @sarah_handscomb has passed away suddenly late last week. Her Mother Jenny would like to share this news with the Science of Reading Community and to celebrate Sarah's impact on so many educators and her students. ❤️

It’s taking me awhile to read @DrGaborMate’s latest book, The myth of normal. 2 reasons: 1. It is actually long. 2. It feels the most important book I’ve ever read, so I’m processing and reflecting as I go. Anyone else reading it? Thoughts? #themythofnormal
