A BIG thanks to @maxabutler for thinking of me when PIZZA MOVIE wrapped their shoot. We met at Sundance in 2017 & followed each other on X. He wasn't sure if I'd be available or willing to do post sound on a low budget comedy, but I said I'd love to. I'm sure glad that I did!

Last Sunday, legendary producer Kathleen Kennedy was honored at the Motion Picture Sound Editors’ annual Golden Reel Awards at the historic Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles. Presented by Skywalker Sound’s Ben Burtt, the award recognized Kennedy’s lifelong admiration for the art of sound design, and her immense impact on the global filmmaking community across her 45-year career.
