@JeremyECrawford, Can you settle the ghost lance argument? When a creature walks past Echoknight's Echo and triggers the attack of opportunity. Can the OA be replaced by a warcaster feature with a cantrip or a spell. If so, can it be cast from the player's location?

@GlitchFandango @cookotron now since quest1 is limited at around 100, even with extreme optimization you are limited to something around 30-35 characters at any given time. That's poor numbers for even a small scale RTS game, hence why they are not viable on this generation of quest :)

Here’s a question for any VR devs that might read this. Is there something specifically, technically difficult about making an RTS game that would preclude it from running on the Quest? If not technical, what factors could account for the fact that none exist on the Quest?

@GlitchFandango @cookotron It's an over-simplification, but essentially the absolute minimum you have to have per character/npc in a game is 2 drawcalls (1for geometry and 1 for material). Anything on screen costs drawcalls - player, environment, props and UI elements.
