This season was something special. Memories were made at KeyBank Center and beyond that felt a little like magic, and brought our community together in old and new ways.  Buffalo proved itself the hockey town it’s always been. And now, the wagon rolls on. This thing of ours is forever, Buffalo. And a new era of Sabres hockey is just beginning.💙💛

There is so much to talk about. The turnover, the change of direction, the Malenstyn no goal, but I keep watching this replay. Look where the shot is taken. I’m not blaming anyone in particular, but Dobes made some saves in OT. MTL had three OT shots and scored on this.

@CMDeDominicis He got beat but you can't deny that he was the reason this team was able to hang on. He gave them every last breath he could I still believe in him wholeheartedly and that he is a starting goaltender

@xJDMMAx @BuffaloSabres He played great period. Without him they wouldn't have gotten to overtime. He gave them the best possible chance for as long as he could and they couldn't finish it It is what it is but no one should be blaming Luukkonen at all

@SlashedBlades @BuffaloSabres Two things can be true man. He played great game up until that shot. You can’t get beat clean by a wrist shot from the top of the circle.

No matter what happens in the next 20 This is a team to be proud of. Win or lose this was a wildly successful season and you can see that they have the foundation in place to contend for awhile

I'm gonna be very stressed for the next 20 minutes and have some sort of emotional spurt regardless of how this ends
