Just landed Nigeria❣️ Let’s see the agenda for today from my envious obsessed stalkers monitoring my existence 😏 Grown adults spending time gossiping, because they can’t match this influence, relevance, or impact. Imagine growing old without any career relevance, I wouldn’t want to be you too boo❣️.

The only reason you should still be following any Nigerian politician in today’s Nigeria is if you are trying to use them to get into office as well, or you are jobless and hungry and have nothing tangible you are doing with your life. But if you have something you are doing, go and focus on your life. If you like don’t listen, body go tell you soon. After 2027, you will have sense.

Using Peter Obi’s platform as a disguise has become a notable tactic among some Nigerian politicians seeking electoral office. While Obi’s brand centered on frugality, competence, youth inclusion, and anti-establishment reform resonates widely, certain candidates merely adopt its language without internalizing its principles. They mimic his talking points and align with the “Obidient movement” for visibility, yet their political histories, divisive pattern and spending patterns, and alliances betray old-school, big-tent, or corrupt tendencies. This opportunism dilutes the movement’s integrity and confuses voters seeking genuine change. It underscores the need for deeper scrutiny of candidates’ records and consistency, not just their slogans or social media appeal. Politicians who decamped from the Labour Party immediately after using Peter Obi’s platform to win elections have exposed their lack of ideological commitment. Their actions reveal a selfish pursuit of power, not service betraying the trust of voters who genuinely believed in the Obidient movement’s call for integrity and transformational leadership. This time around, we are no longer swayed by slogans or party labels. We will scrutinise every aspirant’s track record, character, and consistency across all parties. Anyone who cannot prove a genuine commitment to integrity, competence, and the people’s welfare will not earn our vote. The era of decamping opportunists using Peter Obi’s platform as a disguise is over. We are awake, we are organised, and we will only back credible, value-driven candidates.

I love that people are pushing back against these zombidients. They’re not as loud as they used to be, and they’ve lost many members since. Well done to all involved.

I say Good bye to the murky waters of Nigerian Politics. I no longer belong to any political party and will therefore not vie for any office. However I will continue to support ordinary Nigerians to the best of my ability.

Lol, why would I delete it? Back in 2020, because of the exceptional performance of Seyi Makinde during his first term, I said he had the qualities to be President. Fast forward to 2023, while he was contesting for reelection as governor, Peter Obi came on the scene and, based on his track record, I volunteered to be his campaign photographer pro bono because I genuinely believed he was fit for the job. I didn’t stop at taking pictures. I went back to my polling unit on election Day, voted, bought snacks, and encouraged people to stay until every single vote was counted. Peter Obi won there too. For context, that polling unit is close to the PDP national secretariat in AkwaIbom, and Udom Emmanuel was the PDP campaign DG. In 2025, I returned and continued my work as his photographer. So why exactly should I be ashamed that I saw visionary leadership in 2020 and wanted it at the national level? Unlike some political jobbers who once praised Peter Obi and later switched up, I’ve never changed my stance on Seyi Makinde. I’ve never insulted or disrespected him. I’m not just a supporter of Peter Obi, I work for and with him. He has the capacity to lead this country, and Seyi Makinde does too, based on proven track records. At the end of the day, it’s better for productive and competent people to contest elections than to leave leadership in the hands of drug dealers, certificate forgers, and people with no traceable background. I want a Nigeria that works and I’m happy the race is competitive, unlike the coronation some people were hoping to have.

Dead and alive. Former or current. Present or past. Not a single Nigerian former governor, presidential aspirant, or polictian can call out the EFCC for a wrong doing and remain free the next day. I Stan, re-Stan, and AfghaniStan you sir. Nigeria will be OK Insha Allah.

Teargas in a Hospital, a Thoughtless Act. I have just read the recent troubling reports of how the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) allegedly stormed the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital in a bid to arrest Professor Eyo Ekpe, a professor of cardiothoracic surgery and deputy chairman of the hospital’s medical advisory committee. While I understand and respect the fact that the EFCC, and indeed, all other government agencies have their constitutional rights to do their jobs without interference, the manner in which some of these jobs are carried out is often deeply troubling. Reportedly, the EFCC operatives who stormed the hospital shot some teargas canisters within the hospital premises which sent medical staff and patients running for safety. This thoughtless act greatly compromised the general safety in the hospital environment and further jeopardised the health of the medical personnel and the sick people in the hospital. I have always said that the most fundamental intangible asset upon which any nation functions effectively is the rule of law and order. The disorderliness allegedly demonstrated by the EFCC operatives at the hospital must not be encouraged. Nothing justifies the use of teargas canisters in a fragile hospital environment. Do we not realise that our hospitals are part of our most critical contributors to development? We must also learn to respect the lives and dignity of our citizens. If a Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery is arrested in such a demeaning manner in a hospital environment, what signals are we sending to other medical professionals working hard to keep our health sector afloat? It is reported that Nigeria has only 80 cardiothoracic surgeons serving its 230 million people, and the Prof Eyo Ekpe is the only one in Akwa Ibom State. Let us learn to do better. Let us condemn and eschew the rascality and disorderliness that have continued to characterise some of our public offices and bring in civility in the discharge of our duties. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

The people you guys call “Atiku Boys” are some of the most honorable young Nigerians I’ve ever worked with. Independent minded, solid, polished, and focused individuals. There are a few uncouth ones, but they’re minority and don’t have any say. It’s sad we lost those brains to ADC when Atiku moved from my party.
