If NASCAR spent as much time trying to “fix” the nextgen as they do trying to fix perfectly fine race tracks that we’ve raced on without issue for 40 years, it’d probably still suck but maybe a little better

As someone that loves Cleetus and watches every video, the only thing that I didn’t like personally when he first got here were the exaggerated interviews. They were funny, but I could see how they came off as him not taking it serious to diehards. It would’ve probably helped for him to get on camera and talk a little more about how grateful he was to be here and acknowledge how hard it is as opposed to generating clicks right off the rip. When you actually watch his content you see that it’s a character and that theres no better human on earth, but if you don’t, some people probably took it the wrong way. Outside of that, I don’t get it at all.

I'm genuinely asking because I don't understand: What's the deal with the Cleetus hate? He's running ARCA (exactly where he should be to get experience), he has a ton of real enthusiasm for NASCAR and he's bringing a huge audience to your favorite sport. And all some of you do is take shots at him? Why? I honestly don't get it. Please explain?
