I’m noticing a lot of foreigners who seem to not understand why we’d risk hundreds of lives, spend millions of dollars, and sacrifice several aircraft to rescue one guy. And the reason they don’t understand is also the reason people can’t be made American by a piece of paper.

@SlavWorm @doma_s_soba4koj Да. Читаем ещё раз. "Скорость и кучность". Кучность мимо, скорость - баллистика. Дрон же пытается, пусть и на меньших скоростях, подстроиться под изменения.

@SlavWorm @doma_s_soba4koj Нет, не выполнил бы. Град даже в поле 10×10 м мог бы не попасть. Скорость и кучность (одной установки) вообще даже не близко к рою этих дронов.

@iRewer @doma_s_soba4koj Пока его поразило было несколько прилетов в молоко. Суть в том, что такую же задачу выполнил бы обычный град снаряженный НУРСами. ФПВ используют по другому. И там не 2-3 прилета по одному, там больше.
Это я не вскрываю тему, почему фугасами, а не осколочными.

Вообще, о чём мы спорим? Сейчас на фронте в Украине тратят 2-3 дрона для уверенного одвухсочивания одного солдата. То же самое и при диких скоростях и при принятии решения машиной, что и показано в фильме.

@SlavWorm @doma_s_soba4koj Нет. Вы не осилили клиповость боевика. Там строго по охранникам. Просто они двигаются - и по ним бьют 2-3 штуками, где первые промахиваются. В предыдущих секундах показано строгое наведение по распознанным целям

this is the problem with the US defense industry. They invest millions into some really cool irreplaceable gadget meanwhile the soldier wearing this expensive helmet gets blown up by a soviet artillery shell duct-taped to a DGI or a shahed with a recycled moped engine

@vapor_waif The US is incredibly rich and casualty adverse. If it costs a million dollars but saves a soldier's life and therefore homefront morale, its cost effective.
Afghanistan showed the American people can sustain an unpopular and expensive war for 20 years, as long as deaths are low
