What’s a game where movement alone made it fun to replay?

Our generation didn't call in sick. We left the bar/club at closing time, slept for an hour, grabbed a coffee and a Marlboro Light, still smelling like a brewery, had the hand stamp to prove it, and went to work like nothing happened. We are not the same

@ick_real Similar - I worked in an office in a warehouse full of raw ingredients for supplements and you weren't allowed to wear any perfume/cologne when out on the floor. My boss reeked of cologne every day and would regularly stroll out into the warehouse. But God forbid ANYone else did.

Does your boss have the right to tell you that your perfume is too strong and it’s offensive to others in the office and you should stop using it ?

@fulsmachine It is absolutely incredible. I just ran around for probably 15 or so minutes, standing under the sparks, taking screenshots, marveling at so many effects on screen at once...

@JeremiahDJohns 1000%. Boiled is the worst. 🤮Not sure what age I was when I discovered grilling vegetables, but it was life-changing. ESPECIALLY brussels sprouts. Absolutely hated those damn things until I had them grilled. Now? They're a regular side dish.

Kind of regret that it took me until my 30s to get turned on to how good broccoli is. I blame Gen X parent cooking where all vegetables were just boiled to death with no seasoning. No wonder I didn't like them.

Planning out a DLC expansion and a free update for Suit for Hire, no promises at the moment but is there anything y'all would want to see in the update/DLC? Brainstorming a potential roguelike mode for the DLC but we'll see if it I can do it any justice.

@HoeannaNewsom I live in a largely Hispanic area and there's a chicken wings food cart that's in a nearby lot once a week and their spiciest wings are the 'El Gringo', and they're my favorite. :)

When the thing that sounds kinda good on the Mexican restaurant menu is called “The Gringo” :/

@Nathardemo Ha! Same - got it as the Epic freebie on Christmas. Passed on it initially because I couldn’t decide if I’d like it or not. Turns out, LOVED it. Just finished 2. Absolutely amazing experiences.

i had the best experience with Death stranding 1. It was laying in my Epic Games library since 2022 when they gave it for free. i was looking for stuff to play winter 2024-2025 and only knowing mgr:r from kojima games and nothing about death stranding i started. (1/4)

@RazorwireRPG Lack of location diversity was the worst. Very surprised when, at one point, I cleared an underground area, then randomly picked another planet I hadn't been to and found an underground area there, and it was the EXACT SAME ONE I just cleared! I couldn't facepalm hard enough. :/

No single image of Starfield better illustrates how toothless, gutless, lacking in grit and texture than this one does. I made the mistake of visiting Neon late in my playthrough, excited about the idea of visiting a sleazy Cyberpunk planet. What I found was a clown show. There is something hollow and sad about the entirety of Starfield's worldbuilding and lore, that I can't even bring myself to be mad about - I'm just disappointed. This doesn't feel like a universe comprised of competing factions and people, it feels like a bunch of empty mannequins shooting at each other over nothing. Everything feels so dumbed down and family friendly. All the edges filed off to make everything palatable and bland. It's sad.

Descent turns 30 years old today! This innovative 3D shooter will actually play on a 486 with 4MB of RAM - talk about efficient memory usage! (I tried it)

@OldFashionQn Not even hit tweets. About a month ago I got a comment to one of my replies and when I went back to add something, I noticed my reply had been re-replied three times by other accounts. I assume bots as it makes no logical sense to repeat another's reply, but it's still weird.

My TL has so many stolen tweets like imagine stealing a hit tweet to try to get likes. Some people really need hobbies.

@titsmcjew @ESRosebud @mark_kremer At a prior job there were a group of us who did a regular happy hour and I would always buy a round of Fireball shots and they HATED me for it, but would do them because I paid and would bitch if they didn't. It was why I did it. I only like Fireball in hot chocolate. :)
