Ubisoft Montpellier is currently working on an unannounced project. The game is still in its early concept phase and is being developed using Unreal Engine, which suggests it could be a AAA production. Since February 2026, Ubisoft has also been hiring for a Technical Director specializing in Level Design. Many fans are speculating that this could be a new 3D Prince of Persia title. The chances seem plausible, as Ubisoft Montpellier is part of Ubisoft’s Creative House 4, which is responsible for franchises such as Prince of Persia, Anno, Rayman, Might & Magic, and Beyond Good & Evil. Given that the project is being developed in Unreal Engine, it is likely either a new 3D Prince of Persia game or a completely new IP. Take this with a grain of salt. What do you think? They can't bring the old Modern day with the remakes if they're gonna use the Animus Hub. Maybe in different context but certainly not the way it's in the Original Games. Soo no don't expect to bring then back. There's reason it's called Resynced. Cuz we are not gonna be Desmond.

@RavenMentore I mean depends how far into the future is the modern day plot compared to Valhalla and Mirage's modern day. It would make sense to visit Desmond's memories if there's a reason to visit them for some information. Just to see his training and live in the farm ain't enough excuse.

So, we have Desmond Miles DNA In the Animus Hub. What this could mean - We could relive Desmond miles memories directly from start to finish. We could also be introduced to the modern assassins and even possibly, Clay himself through the archives of the Animus's DNA. -possibly live the memories of the modern Assassin training and Initiation in the modern day -experience the time in "The Farm" -Relive William Miles Memories -return of Shaun And Rebecca through these genetic memories -possibly a introduction to Elijah Miles through his DNA which gave us a perspective of Desmonds life after he ran from the Assassin Life -Possibly more. @assassinscreed #assassinscreed

Do you know it was actually the 6th mainline game and not the 4th one.

It's expensive to mocap for every language so the mouth movement doesn't feel weird and it was gonna take longer to produce mouth movements for every language with mocap and by hand so AI became the thing to use for mouth movement. Plus the games became 100+ hours.

Except Origins had 4 COLLECTOR'S EDITIONS. STANDARD, DELUXE AND GOLD EDITIONS. SO NO THEY WEREN'T NICE IN 2017.......
