@SaffronOlive The problem is what about players Who don't use EDHrec? Some use Moxfield or Archidekt instead. So only using 1 site isn't enough but using all runs into the issue of some people who have accounts on each getting counted multiple times and inflating numbers.

I'm interested in trying to use the number of decks on EDHRec as a way to compare the popularity of different sets. It seems like "how many Commander decks are build from the set" is a meaningful metric. Obviously oversamples enfranchised players that upload decklists to the internet, but still seems worth exploring. Has anyone tried this yet?
