All jokes aside, a lot of these players have been playing through knocks and niggles, if not worse, for a while. There’s already a lot of games in the calendar & even more with the team going deep in all comps. You have to respect it & be more understanding when some players aren’t at their best.
Would’ve prioritised bringing back Havertz though. He clearly isn’t near being fully fit.

Really like this team. I think it’s the closest thing to what Arteta would play if everyone was fit so hopefully it works.

Got there in the end. Not really concerned by the performance, because of the changes and how open we played. Still created tons of chances.
Unless we get a kind draw for the quarters, every game from now on in, will be very tough. Can’t afford any more slip-ups, individual errors or injuries.

Spurs are generationally shit but the performance today was by far the most dynamic one out of the last 8 league games imo
Only common factor is the bozo element otherwise our build up, tempo and pass selection was night and day.

This 7 game league stretch is so out of sync with how the team has played for the majority of the season, and it’s been alarming. Forget producing “moments of magic”, the OOP stuff, build up, intensity and technical level has severely dropped.
