@sergeyglkn i think the reason not to is that these AI are not going to give you characters that feel unique or have any personality to them. i'd be much more curious to see what kind of ideas you could come up with on your own than what you get putting "crazy looking cartoon guy" in dalle

AI-generated character + a couple of hours of modelling. AI saved me several days of work, with looking for references, sketches and coordination with a team.
