typically that means they still have a queue ahead of you! some artists work in order while others will only take certain designs and deny the rest, if you haven’t been declined yet i’d assume they’re just going in order!
doesn’t hurt to shoot a message though to see a time estimate!

I’m not sure how vgen works, but I was added to an artists waitlist almost a month ago and the email said the artist would be in touch if they accepted my request but I haven’t heard anything since. Is it safe to assume the artist didn’t accept my request or should I still wait?

@beeatrixvixen I say do what makes you the most comfortable! I’ve seen streamers censor while reading chat messages, paraphrase, or just reply to chat without reading it out loud and refer to the user by name when responding! It’s your space so you curate it to make yourself comfy :3

Thinking about if I want to continue to have my streams as pg 13 or switch to pg. While I dont mind the cussing, I personally don't use that language so I kind of hesitate to read chat messages out loud. So I keep thinking about changing it up so I feel more comfortable reading chat out loud.

@Bflyscribbles I’ve also been using YouTube videos to learn how to use it! It’s nice because you can download it for free to try it out and then later if you want the pro it’s a $300 one time payment. But you don’t have to get the pro and the free download isn’t a trial period

@Bflyscribbles I think it’s closer to Premiere, but I’m currently learning how to use DaVinci Resolve. Apparently it has capabilities to do work like After Effects but I’m not sure how good it is as a replacement

Question bc I finally am trying to ditch After Effects as soon as humanly possible, what post-production/compositing software does everyone like to use and do you have any resources on how to learn it? I’m doing some major revising to my production pipeline this summer ty💓

I usually cancel. I don’t want to go live with fake energy because it’ll affect the vibes for the stream. I don’t like forcing it and I think my viewers would catch on. I feel like my emotions and mood will impact them as well. I only want to spread good vibes 🩵

An active chat for sure! I’m a certified yapper and just genuinely like talking with everyone who stops in! 🥺 I don’t have the settings turned on to see the viewer count, anymore. I found myself getting too obsessed with the numbers and it took away from the fun I was having.
