Kharge’s latest letter opposing CAPF bill-2026 is the usual Congress agenda. The bull is actually fixing what should have been fixed years ago. Clear laws, proper command structure, real career growth. Not the old jugaad system of Congress era. CAPFs are not sitting in camps. They are in Naxal areas, Kashmir, elections, and disasters. They deal with people every single day. This is not just combat, this is law and order and accountability. And that’s exactly why IPS leadership matters. You need people who understand policing, coordination with states, and how to handle sensitive situations without things blowing up. Congress had decades. Did nothing. Now suddenly they have concerns. Same old politics.

@Mrsinha Don't write about things that you have no idea about. The govt. Is playing in the hands of the Civil Servants. If the heart would have been at the right place, they would have implemented the Hon. Court's order. CAPF cadre officers have long been ignored due to IPS interference.

@Newsofpmc A Jawan's family is quite vulnerable in our society. There are countless cases where their daughters are molested, their land grabbed, families beaten up. Perpetrators know that the man of the family would only be there once or twice a year with complete apathy from police.

Very bad on the part of the so-called nationalist government. It's a sample of CRPF only but there is huge gross injustice in general from decades. Similarly with #BSF, #ITBP, #SSB, #CISF etc. दुश्मन का धोखा बुरा नहीं लगता परंतु अपने ही दुश्मन जैसे धोखा दे तो बुरा लगता है।

@mujifren This bill completely misses the point. The Supreme Court directed the government to reduce IPS deputation according to OGAS norms, yet the government is now doing a U-turn on its own directives and appeasing the IPS lobby.

To some extent I agree with you sir. It's not between CAPF & IPS. But a genuine demand of UPSC selected Gazetted Officers' precarious service career caused by people who come on temporary basis. Don't we feel pain when our head of family seems unbothered for family but himself?
