Every game feels like a new low for this Mets team right now. Coming out of an off day, the Mets got embarrassed by the Cubs, 12-4, here at Wrigley Field. That's nine losses in a row ... the longest losing streak for the Mets since 2004. A dreadful pitching performance from Kodai Senga set the tone, overshadowing some life (14 hits) from New York's floundering lineup. The Mets are now 7-13 to start the season.
