Finally pulled myself away from other games and told myself "I can't play anything else until I kill Radahn, I need to finally finish this!" Well, I killed him today 2nd try in a swift and clean 2 min solo run. I'm rather impressed with myself on this one, told you I'd do it! 😤

People just want it to be that way more than it is 🤷‍♂️ I'd prefer a single player experience myself, but I don't mind playing Nightreign and Duskbloods to hold me over while their single player experience is still cooking

@SlimGirthworm Nintendo has a preorder reservation system this time around to combat scalpers, if you have a Nintendo account that's had a year of paid online service and something like 50 hours of play time on the account, you can reserve an order. I signed up for it but we'll see lol

Whether I preorder or not completely depends on Prime 4's release date 😅

@BasedLagi This might be the best Rathalos has ever been tbh. The fight offers more challenge in a great way in comparison to some previous entries imo. Excellent balance 👌

@LettuceVerse Monster Hunter isn't game where you just finish the story and that's the main attraction... The hours and hours of story is only the tutorial for the hundreds of hours of optional content 😅

@BringYeBack @Pirat_Nation I do enjoy PvP, I just enjoy PvE more. Coincidentally I have a lotttt of hours in Marvel Rivals and Soulslike games 😅 Sure once I 100% a single player game it's over but then I can move into the next game to enjoy with new mechanics, new story and new things to explore 👌

@Solidsnack22 @Pirat_Nation Views? LOL I play for personal enjoyment and for me that's more often PvE, though I do play PvP as well I like completing games or catching up on content in games like FF14 or Monster Hunter then moving onto to the next experience 🤷‍♂️

I can play something like Monster Hunter for 100's hours, catch up on content then go move onto a new game Bouncing around from one experience to the next is where the enjoyment is for me personally

@SlimGirthworm @Pirat_Nation The long term goals are infinitely more fulfilling when you reach them. Anyone can "beat" pretty much any PvE game as long as they have time, so doing so is less satisfying. PvP games force you to grow a lot mentally and in game to actually reach new heights

@gaminglegend_11 In some ways, yes. I'm all about gathering and farming as part of the experience, but all things need to be done so in a way that makes the overall experience enjoyable to the player, videogames aren't supposed to be a chore at the end of the day, they're played for enjoyment.

@SlimGirthworm It was all of those. There’s no elitism about it. It’s part of being a hunter and actually preparing for the hunt like a real hunter along with actually tracking and hunting the monster. What we have now is just a fighting game.

@gaminglegend_11 @Cineaesthetic1 I've played since 3U and we do not need that back. It's just filler content for the sake of being tedious so elitists can be like "Back in my day we had to waste hours of time before actually hunting" 👴 It wasn't actually fun, engaging or enjoyable 🤷‍♂️

@Cineaesthetic1 Man new gen players don’t understand the grind of spending hours honey and zenny farming before you could take on hunts… monster hunter needs to bring that back
