Just to give you guys some perspective, we once approached ACGL and wanted to put up a Call of Duty tournament for like R50,000 or something I don’t even remember. We were told, “we should rather split this R50,000 into a ton of smaller tournaments throughout the year instead” and that “production and staff would cost a significant portion of that 50,000” We instantly pulled out and hosted the tournament ourselves instead. It ran perfectly smooth with a singular admin and had a stream with more viewers we could ever hope to achieve nowadays. It was clear to see what their goal was.
