Pokémon GO Fest Chicago was amazing! 👏🏻 These in-person events have always been my favorite and most memorable times playing Pokémon GO. Of course the in- game event is super fun, spawns/raids etc, but without all the people around, without the community atmosphere, these events simply wouldn’t be worth traveling to and you’d be better off just waiting for Global GO Fest. Going to these in-person events always reminds me how incredible our community is, and why the game is still going strong after 10 years. The spontaneous interactions you’re able to have with people around and how easy it is to strike up conversations and make friends at these events is priceless. Thank you to everyone I was able to meet during my time in Chicago! Everyone was so nice, and I’m really grateful to everyone who came and said hello to me, all the new people I met, as well as seeing so many familiar faces and catching up with friends I haven’t seen for months and sometimes years. I can’t emphasize enough how great the community atmosphere was in Chicago! Was such a great time all round and made some great memories. While the in-game luck at these events may vary and we’re not always able to get everything we wanted, and simply feel disappointment because rng didn’t go your way sometimes, what you are guaranteed to get at these events is a great time with people and that’s the most important part! Thanks again everyone for such a great GO Fest in Chicago! And remember, the real shundos are the friends you make along the way 🥳 ❤️ #PokemonGO #PokemonGOFest2026
