Over the last 48 hours: 1. Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz 2. The US claimed peace talks would resume with Iran tomorrow 3. Iran has backed out of peace talks with the US 4. Iran has accused the US of plotting a “surprise attack” 5. The US has struck and seized an Iranian vessel in the Strait of Hormuz 6. Iran has denied Trump’s claims of giving up uranium enrichment There appears to be severe distrust on both sides of the table in this conflict. Trump says “no deal” this week would be detrimental for Iran. Futures open in 2 hours.

BREAKING: The US exported over 5 million barrels of oil per day last week, a record high, amid the Iran War. In aggregate, the US exported a record 12.7 million barrels of crude oil and refined products per day last week. As the Iran War leads to one of the largest energy disruptions in history, the US is capitalizing. Total exports will likely exceed 13 million barrels per day soon.

Absolutely incredible: The S&P 500 is now officially UP on the year and just ~1% away from hitting a new record high. Since March 30th, the S&P 500 has now added +$5.5 TRILLION in market cap. That's +$550 billion per trading day for 10-straight trading days. The reality is that inflation is rising toward 4%, the AI Revolution is only accelerating, and trillions of Dollars of sidelined capital are eager to enter the market. This truly is one of the most resilient markets in history. Own assets or be left behind.
