Ascended Heroes is going to be Pokemon's worst set release of the past 2 years and will be a gigantic nightmare....let me explain 🧵 Pokemon's latest set, Ascended Heroes, releases on January 30th, 2026. This is Mega Evolutions 1st Holiday Set or Half Set. This is NOT a Main Set, meaning there are NO Booster Boxes for this set. With Holiday Sets, the main source of acquiring packs are through Elite Trainer Boxes (9 Packs) or Booster Bundles (6 Packs) BOTH of these products are NOT launching at release day. This is normal for Booster Bundles but NOT for Elite Trainer Boxes. Elite Trainer Boxes typically always launch at release, no matter if it's a Main Set or Holiday Set. But with Ascended Heroes we are only getting two products at release....that's it. A 2-Pack Blister featuring Erika or Larry. A 3-Pack Tech Sticker Collection featuring Gastly or Charmander At release, there will only be 2 product types featuring a total of 5 packs...that's insanely bad. With Prismatic Evolutions for example, on release day, there were multiple products releasing. Tech Sticker Collection, 2-Pack Blisters, Mini Tins, Poster Collection, Binder Collection AND Elite Trainer Boxes. That's a total of 24 packs with various products at release instead of the mere 5 packs that Ascended Heroes will feature. Help will not arrive until February 20th, 2026 when two additional products release in the Elite Trainer Boxes and Mini Tins. 11 additional packs added to the pathetic 5 being offered. Bringing the total to 16, still 8 shy of Prismatic's release Schedule. Prismatic even had Booster Bundles release a month after launch (which is typical for Holiday Sets) adding an additional 6 packs. Booster Bundles aren't releasing for Ascended Heroes until almost 3 months later....3 MONTHS LATER! If people thought Prismatic Evolutions was hard to obtain...Ascended Heroes looks impossible in comparison.
