Full PvE mode, grenade infill limit, WSTR buff, Mizzy and Battle Pistol nerf, Cradle prestige system, implant icon readability rework, ability to learn Cryo Archive solo, and more cosmetics to earn through progression. All stuff I’m pumped for but will you be jumping in to play?

Hey everyone, we know we've been a little quiet out here - but, as we get closer to the mid-Season 2 update, we wanted to take a chance to get the ball rolling again. Later this week we'll be sharing a blog covering some of the mid-Season 2 updates, including balance changes, details on Vault Breaker, a few much-needed weapon adjustments, and details on a buff to Cradle progression. (This blog is just a preview, and we'll have the full list of patch notes the morning of July 21st.) But, in the meantime, our ear is to the ground. We want to know what you're feeling. @MarathonDevTeam Nerf the amount that spawn or the damage they do, but the amount that spawn/respawn is wack. And I’m not saying this for only me, I’ve got 600 hours but for new people. The bots in cryo are rough and I want new people to experience it so the game can become larger for PvP

We will say, on one hand, you are on their turf. The UESC don't want you aboard the Marathon one tiny bit. (But, we can definitely pass that feedback along for you!)

@MarathonDevTeam And how come when my and my boy duo queue with purple shields or gold shields, we get white and green shield teammates, then end up going against fully stacked gold teams or nothing but free kits! But when I take in a free kit with him I’m still going against full gold teams! 🤯

@MarathonDevTeam Still not done, make more guns usable. The energy weapons are pretty much useless outside of the sniper. The same guns stay stay meta for a full season. Take misi out, take bully out, take pistol out and buff some others. We need variety, but using the same 6 guns getting old.

@MarathonDevTeam Also, recon spam is boring. Nerf Those little energy amp spamming nerds, it’s outrageous. Assassin smoke needs to be adjusted and cracking a gold shield for them to break aim assist is ridiculous. I don’t have that many issues with it but it’s over all way too easy to escape…

@MarathonTheGame Your game is dying, don’t let it. Go free to play and make it more achievable for casual players to get on and have a good time. I go against the same 100 people in Cryo it feels like because 90% of the people on it will never have completed. I hate casuals, but we need em..

🚨 Marathon Economy Update 🚨 The devs say Marathon Season 2 progression is happening much faster than intended. Players reached Week 11-12 Season 1 wealth levels by Week 2. Causes include a bug increasing high-rarity loot, unintended gold drops, Sponsored Kits, and Survival/Control chest issues. Temporary nerfs to loot progression and Cradle XP are live while they investigate.

@MarathonDevTeam Yeah was cool today I lost dervish, gold bully, misi, and burst pistol with gold shield and cores cause my team couldn’t res me and they got to exfill lmao.

We're investigating reports where some players are unable to be revived in Cryo Archive. For the time being, we recommend holding onto your loot and exfilling at the nearest location. We'll share updates as soon as we can. Thanks for your reports!
