This boy is already challenging some big names in midfield. If you noticed, the moment he was subbed out, the midfield went from 100% to 20% in pressing to retrieve the ball, and that dragged us back to default settings. At this point, I don’t care who deserves to play or not, Thiago Pitarch must always be part of the team, or else we’re doomed in the midfield. Everyone did great, but his contribution is key now. We can’t sideline him because of big names who are too lazy to high-press and win the ball. A player like him is far more important than one who won’t press and win it ball back. I said it earlier, if some big names return, I hope it doesn’t unbalance this balanced team because of player power.
