@lippyent Of these? Chrissie Hynde. I saw The Pretenders 3 nights in a row in Boston. I would have gone 4 or more if they played more.
Having said that, I saw Eurythmics 2 nights in a row.
Annie Lennox has my heart forever.

@Natasha_etc_ @jk_rowling @clharrington024 Agree!!! Killing Fred stunk, as well as Tonks and Lupin, leaving their kid an orphan.

@jk_rowling @clharrington024 Fred was the one that got me. I can see why Sirius and Dumbledore had to die, it felt almost inevitable, but Fred felt almost cruel. I understand the point – war leaves lasting scars – but the devastation of that one lingered.

My 6th grade daughter is reading Harry Potter, she finished the 6th book very late the other night so I was already asleep. I awoke to a post it on the kitchen counter:
“Mom, Dumbledore died! I’m so sad. Love, Charlotte”
This small note made my heart explode. Reading great books is magical and moving and heartbreaking.
Thanks @jk_rowling for writing this world for kids to love and live in.
Parents, too many kids today haven’t read all the Harry Potter books. Start reading this series with them. I promise it will be one of your most cherished memories.

@ShannonNutt @jk_rowling @clharrington024 It (Dumbledore’s death) developed Snape’s character. Heck, technically Dumbledore was the “Master of Death” He had the “Deathly Hallows”; the cape, wand, and stone, which Harry eventually had at the end, because the prophecy said either he or Voldemort had to die.

@jk_rowling @clharrington024 20 years later, I still don’t know why you killed him. I’m not sure it added anything significant to the story you were telling - unless you just wanted him out of the way for Harry’s final fight against Voldemort.
