@SmartEnergyGB Hello.I have solar panels on my roof. I have an export meter installed at the moment, so I can export what I generate, if I am not at home using the electric. If I go over to a Smart Meter will I still be able to export the electricity I generate?Best Regards

@harboureb However, to potentially earn money from this you would need to apply for the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG). You can find out more on Ofgem's website: ofgem.gov.uk/environmental-…

@harboureb It's important to note, if you have a certified renewable energy generation system like solar and a smart meter you should be able to export your excess energy back to the grid. (4/5)

@SmartEnergyGB I am stuck with Smets1 meters that do not provide in day readings. British gas failed to supply an IHD when they installed them years ago and my current supplier is not interested. What do I do?

Got a smart meter last week. Somehow our supposed gas consumption for previous day spontaneously trebles between when I check the reading at 9am the next morning and recheck at 4pm. Also had mysterious consumption between midnight and 3am when heating was off. @SmartEnergyGB
