@RobertElms @AnthonyTeasdale Coram Street Chimney, part of a oil-powered heating system for the nearby estates. Now disused i think. Communal heating systems used to be quite widely used, eg like this one on the Myatts Fields estate in Brixton which is still in use.

Residents living in a quiet cul-de-sac were left furious after an 8ft-tall, bright green parcel locker was abruptly 'plonked' right outside their doors. Homeowners on Arne Road in Walsgrave, Coventry, were 'up in arms' about the unwelcome arrival & vehement opposition successfully convinced the company to remove the box. The battery-run, solar-powered delivery point is owned by Yeep!, a specialist in parcel lockers, with residents claiming they were initially told a concrete base had been installed for a new salt store. They also say they hadn’t seen the lockers used once since installed, so the company have moved it somewhere less noticeable. 📦
