@Cherrynasb There is a real value proposition for servers in a lot of ways but it's so expensive to maintain and America's internet infrastructure is dookie. I'll always appreciate how much it expands the available playerbase though, ppl dont realize how often they play coast 2 coast in R2.

I think the future for platform fighters isn't to have server based netcode. I think as long as the rollback is well made it will matter far more than having the best possible. No game being released besides smash will have the budget to maintain high quality server conditions.

@MaximTheos Oh, I meant you can make an account with a fake email, you're not asked to verify the email and it doesn't check whether the email exists. My friend accidentally made an account with his email misspelled and was able to log-in fine just remembering the password.

Played one game of rivals 2 today and first game my opponent has the most shit connection i've ever experienced, minimum 6 frames of rollback and stutters my fps was dropping from a solid 300+ to between 40 and 50 how does it take that much of an fps hit?

@SuperNGuy I think the playtime (on the friends list, not the app) is tracked on the system, so if you system transfer to Switch 2 your hour count doesn't increase until you have more hours on the new system than you did on the old. You'll have to play 4k hrs on Switch 2 exclusively.

another addition to our knockback is the skimstone system, and teching during these shallow angles will do a ground tech cling, which also has a unique transition to ledge grab
