@SirGrefu @ZeddyHS That's fairly significant in the grand scheme of things for a deck that had a win rate just over 50% in most matchups. Making a turn more awkward can push them into negative win rates, and make the overall deck no longer something you can reliably climb with.

@CurlyWurdy Yes, you still draw from the now empty deck each turn, that's why they put lifesteal on her. The 2 cards you get don't replace your draw.

I like that all Class Sets did was add Companion Hunter to the meta, and that deck is more frustrating to face than anything prior to the Class Set launched. It actively just made Hearthstone worse.

@ClarkHELLSCREAM You can't buff control DK to fix the fact they have no board clears. You can't buff mage's armor gain when they have zero cards to generate it.

@ClarkHELLSCREAM Yeah, that's a bit of the unfortunate side effect of weakening core along with last year's really awkward sets. A lot of classes are just flatly missing cards needed for cohesive strategies to work. Even if they have a decent package, it's missing the other 2/3 of the deck.

There are no nerfs or buffs that will "magically" fix the problems of the CATACLYSM expansion. Aggro is king. You cannot dethrone it with buff/nerfs without throwing the future expansions to the side. We simply need more cards, which only a new expansion will provide.

It’s so funny watching people draw exactly the wrong lesson from noticing how good cards make decks exist. Right. We DON’T want classes propped up by one card because they should be propped up by many more cards like it across the board.

@SidisiTV I'm not a fan of how companion hunter's play pattern is basically a non game for both players. Either the companion hunter gets rolling and you can do next to nothing against it, or they don't and roll over them. It's one of my least favorite game play experiences.

Where we are: ⏩Views on Companion Hunter are turbo polarized. Some people love to play it, others really tired of seeing it already. ⏩Face Hunter became more viable as a counter to Companions & has more space in the meta because Companions act as a "control killer"

It's been fascinating to watch the changes in Hunter since the Class Set release. Prior to this we were the least played class. The Companion deck via Class Set was the main viable "new thing" to try- particularly after the Elekk buff. A few things stand out to me ⏬

@SVAROG_Draws Except it hasn't remained unchanged because this pretty much tells us that Frieza destroyed the Saiyans because Beerus told him to. A "Suggestion" from Beerus isn't a suggestion...its a command.

Hunters can reach Empower Level 10 as early as turns 6 or 7, and their summoning pool consists "only" of Beasts (which is very good!) Mages, on the other hand, not only have to spend significantly more Mana to achieve this, but it is also highly unlikely for them to reach a level above 9—unless, of course, they play Deios + two Mystic Runesabers on Turn 11 (having played The Arcanomicon beforehand). Furthermore, they draw from the entire spectrum of minions, which means that lowrolls occur much more frequently than highrolls (ask @ClarkHELLSCREAM) Here are the somewhat "cheesy" odds of obtaining Empower effects for Crystallized Leyline: With Specialist + Dragon Soul piece to generate an additional "The Arcanomicon" = ~16% With Scrappy Scavenger to pull a Mystic Runesaber as a 2-drop = ~3% With Storm the Gates / Raptor Herald to discover a Mystic Runesaber = ~3% Given that the next two expansions are already nearing completion, I do not believe we will see any further support for the Leyline archetype. Instead, I suspect that Crystallized Leyline itself will undergo another rework. @PlayHearthstone #Hearthstone

@ClarkHELLSCREAM I don't mind the video, but it just didn't really give anything new. I wish it were recorded as a post patch review of how the changes went instead of pre-patch echoing the patch note commentary.
