Oppenheimer won best picture. Nolan won best director. It got best actor, best supporting actor, best cinematography, best film editing, and best original score. It had basically zero black people or lgbtq people in it. What the fuck are you talking about you morons

Totally agree.
However, I am part of a minority that believes (based upon ball park size) Ruth would have hit 70+ home runs at least few times in his career nowadays - if they pitched to him (e.g., Bonds).
He hit numerous balls to Left and Center in Yankee stadium / Polo Grounds as much as 450 that were outs/ doubles.

OPINION: Babe Ruth would be a bust in the modern era.
He never played against the best African American or overseas players.
He dominated an era where pitchers were mediocre, fatigued and had primitive training.
He was unhealthy and unfit, and ultimately a defensive liability.

@FZscene @JayLikesToArt I still love how people say that about The Last Jedi. That shows they never listened to Lucas who said he did that for every Star Wars movie. The only reason he repeated the Death Star plot is well known. That being said TLJ is a good film but a horrible Star Wars film.

Remember when the third film in a trilogy completely diverted from the story? Focuses on a grown man being bullied by teenage band geeks, he finds Michael Myers in a sewer, fights him, and takes his mask. Then the last 5 mins ends the story from 2018. The movie sucked.

We’ve legit lost the plot. I honestly have zero idea what people are looking for these days, we needs a major shift in criticism. The movie I saw was well written, well directed, beautifully shot, insanely well performed & the sound was amazing. Are we “film” critics or not?

Completely wrong.
* Hit home run off Satchel Paige' 100+ fastball 500 feet first time facing. Documented. Lotsa barnstorming
* Played in cavernous ballparks with crappy reused baseballs
* Played in an era of concentrated talent - 16 teams total, less rosters, baseball as #1 sport not competing with others for athletes.
* No nutrition, antibiotics, DH.
* Overlapped with guys who played into the 1940s that were still competitive with guys who plays along elite black players by 50s.
