Police Scotland Ayrshire are appealing for the help of the public to trace Rachel Pokutova, aged 16, who has been reported missing from Ayr. Rachel was last seen around 9.50pm on Thursday, 23 July, 2026, on Dalblair Road. She is described as around 5ft 3ins tall, of medium build and has shoulder-length black hair. When last seen, Rachel was wearing black sliders with a pink fur trim, maroon leggings, a black jacket and had a handbag with a gold chain. Rachel is believed to have travelled to the Kilmarnock area. Inspector William Deans said: “Concerns are growing for Rachel’s welfare, and we are keen to trace her as soon as possible to make sure she is safe. “I would ask that anyone who has information on where Rachel may be or has seen someone matching her description get in touch with officers. “I’d also appeal to Rachel directly – if you see this, please let us know you are safe.” Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2639 of 23 July, 2026.
