@MadsMelbourne The 10% they do have evidence for are probably the hard working Australians, they make jump through hoops to get scraps.

90% of NDIS payments do not require any evidence of claim! The system was never even set up for any evidence to be required in support of an NDIS claims payment.
Seriously!? The people supposedly capable of governing our entire country didn’t think k it was necessary to set up some sort of check, any check for NDIS payments and is happy to just hand out tax dollars left right and centre! And they wonder why the scheme has blown out by billions 🙄
English

@Drew40679124 @MadsMelbourne Did you even listen to the video. They are talking about people making a disability/age care claim. Not the expenses people claim. Evidence the claim is even true.
English

@MadsMelbourne I act as an unpaid NDIS support agent
for a relative
Every product or service I claim on
their behalf requires an invoice from
accredited suppliers
It’s part of the process through the app
How do fraudsters get away with claiming
anything without supporting evidence ?
English

@CGoodman308 @MadsMelbourne Probably a bunch of doctors getting huge kickbacks to facilitate the scam.
English

When I worked for NDIS, we needed a doctor's referral for someone to get on system. Not sure what it is like now, but I find it ridiculous, because I am a carer on the carers pension, do the same as an NDIS support worker, but mine is 24/;7 365, for a friend, and I am certainly not paid the same as a support worker, and the hoops we had to go through so my friend would be taken care of properly was ridiculous.
English

@pen844744 @MadsMelbourne He is talking about someone checking if the person is even disabled. Not what people are claiming. If the person has a claim to begin with or is a scam.
English

@MadsMelbourne They check all payments . There is an ap, everything is submitted with an invoice .
English

@MadsMelbourne This is insanity. I always wonder how exactly this massive scam was being carried out. Now I have a definitive answer. This is obviously by design BTW.

Australia wants to know how Valve is combating 'extreme-right communities' on Steam pcgamer.com/gaming-industr…
English

@NotVoooN @Pirat_Nation Glad I seen this comment. Was thinking the same thing. It’ seems to me that a lot of parents don’t understand how the internet/computers work. So they want the government to do it for them.
English

@Pirat_Nation If children has a steam account below the age of 13, and they're using that to consume adult content, that is not a steam issue. That is a parenting issue. Please don't procreate if you cannot parent an offspring properly.

Australia’s eSafety Commissioner has sent official notices to Valve’s Steam platform, along with Roblox, Minecraft, and Fortnite.
For Steam in particular, the Commissioner highlighted media reports that describe it as a gathering place for certain “extreme-right communities.”
They require each company to explain in clear detail how it spots, prevents, and deals with child grooming, sexual predation, and the radicalization of young people by extremist groups.
The companies must also describe their moderation systems, staff numbers, built-in safety tools, and how these features meet Australia’s national online safety standards.
Overall, the action forms part of a larger push to make major online services safer for children and teens by protecting them from exploitation and harmful ideologies.
