They are as real as the LinkedIn hustle stories and are made up and sensationalized for TRP amid intense competition among channels on counting day. Counting usually starts at 8 :30 a.m., and first-round numbers are typically uploaded between 9 :00–9 :30 a.m., but channels start showing trends as early as 8 :00 a.m. Wait at least till 10 :00 a.m. for a clearer and more reliable picture.

Google search results varies by region. In North India, Google search will only show the name of Anandibai Joshi but if you search the same from Bengal they'll show the name of Kadambini Gangopadhyay. But if you search from outside India they'll show both names.

It has come to my notice that several Officers assigned for Counting Day duties are reportedly disclosing their specific duty details, locations, and designations to their respective departmental organizations and associations. I have received information that spreadsheets and lists are being circulated where Officers are voluntarily or under pressure filling out their "Election Duty Info," including specific roles in the counting process. This is a grave violation of election protocols, and may draw:- 1. Risk of Undue Influence: When an Officer's specific deployment is known to a politically tilted organization or union, it opens the doors for unnecessary political influence and intimidation. 2. Threat to Neutrality: The sanctity of the counting process relies on the confidentiality of personnel deployment. Any breach of this secrecy directly affects the impartiality of the results. 3. Pressure Tactics: Such "data collection" by associations is often a veiled attempt to put pressure on Officers to favor the ruling dispensation during the crucial counting hours. I strongly urge the Election Commission of India and the Chief Electoral Officer, West Bengal, to take immediate cognizance of this matter, and issue strict directives prohibiting any Officer from disclosing their assigned counting duty to any organization or association. Also, kindly initiate a probe into these organizations that are collecting such sensitive deployment data. @ECISVEEP @CEOWestBengal

BJP needs 70% vote of the 70% hindus in West Bengal to win. Like all regional identities, Bengali Hindus too have a Bengali vs Non Bengali factor. Fear of being marked for political vendetta, much after the polls will be a very serious factor.

We need to clearly understand what is happening here… TMC leadership is building the belief in their cadre that they are sweeping the elections and pumping them up… Once the results start coming and it is revealed that they are losing, they will raise high pitch allegations that election has been stolen by BJP through the EC… With the hope that in disbelief and anguish the TMC cadre will rise, plundering the people & state… The reaction can be brutal in areas of Malda, Murshidabad, Dinajpurs and 24 South Parganas! I hope our agencies are prepared for the worst. I have been saying that we need to even keep the Army on red alert and readily available in case of need. May 4th will be a tough day!
