When people ask me “do you have a room for your harps?”… I shall now show them this photo-it’s the end of my kitchen and a bit of my front room 😂😂😂 (One day I shall have a harp room🥳)

I came out aged 19. It was nerve wracking, then joyful. But it was tinged with a sadness that I'd never get married & was unlikely to have kids. That's not for everyone, I know, but for me, it made me sad. I never imagined this. Our little🌈family. Happy #ComingOutDay xxx

It's that time of the year where you can see your breath and it's a bit chilly outside, so we want to know... have you turned on your heating yet?

Can I ask a question please? Thank you. . What do you believe in? Community? Self? Money? Environment? Government? Socialism? Capitalism? Wokeism? Nationalism? Religion? . What is it that gets you out of bed each morning?

Attendance is going to be the worst we’ve had in the right years I’ve had at our school. The COVID figures and isolations for the first two terms massively hit attendance and now we are being slammed by families taking holidays…

This is the time of year when I tend to get asked to give talks at school Speech Days. I can't do all of them so always try to recommend other adventurous speakers in my place. Can you suggest any Adventurers who give excellent school talks? (Feel free to mention yourself!)

Yes it’s fine for you to cut me up in your massive car whilst I’m on my bike just because you can’t be bothered to wait! 🤬 it wasn’t like I was riding slowly!

@_MissieBee My mum came to visit 7 days after our son was born, my wife opened the door, my mum patted her stomach and said is he still in there?! 🤬

Got told my bump was “so small” for 5 months yesterday and now I’m wondering why it’s still apparently acceptable to comment on women’s bodies (to their faces!) whilst they’re pregnant

Those of you with children: is there a single room in your house that’s tidy? Asking for a…friend 😬

@DrKronenbourg @ThisisDavina I don’t hate GPs. I think they have been working just as hard as the rest of us during lockdown. It was hard to get an appointment the other day but I got a phone call at the end of the session and everything got sorted. Thanks for all you do.

@ThisisDavina I'm a GP and never felt so sad, burntout and lost! Everyone hates GPs! One positive - have only a decade to retirement! I hope I make it!

@secretHT1 I’m in my 24th year of teaching, does that mean I can take a five term sabbatical?

Ideas to save education, a thread: 1) Sabbaticals Every 5 years give teachers a fully funded sabbatical, of 1 term. Could be used to visit settings, research, visit other countries, rest and reflect. If 5 years is a retention crunch point, this might help out in a big way.

After a night sharing a platform with over 100 musicians, I am wearing a mask out and about today, just so I'm not spreading anything nasty. Was made to feel very uncomfortable by this stupid pair of signs in Saffron Walden. 😐 Found a much better coffee elsewhere.
