@JeremyWGR @DelReid Love that perspective. I think Vanek is the last jersey I have. My whole family has Tuch, and I will too as soon as he signs a contract with us. I love Benson, but I hate the RAT label. He is so much better than that. He plays super hard, but not anymore dirty than the next guy.

@TheChargingBUF I couldn’t agree more. This gambling partnership, plus how the MSG broadcast promotes gambling, is gross. If people want to gamble on all sorts of aspects of the game, go for it and enjoy! Leave it out of my sporting event.

The Sabres not hosting away game watch parties at Canalside - and instead at a casino in Niagara Falls is just so bad and out of touch. Hopefully the sponsorship deal was worth it because nobody wants this.

THIS is why I get annoyed with the bandwagon fans who just started watching again this year. Cozens last couple seasons here he had quit and mailed it in. He needed a fresh start. Easy to look at one game and make a decision when you weren’t here for the background of it #Sabrehood

@SalSports Late 70s-early 80’s. I was young and had to go to bed during playoff games against the Islanders multiple years. I listen to the game on a transistor radio under my pillow. I just remember Billy Smith hacking, slashing, and fighting. Sabres kept losing to them and I hated Smith!

First Sabres playoff memory. Go! (mine is Bob Sauve back-to-back shutouts in games 1/2 AT the Canadiens in 1983.....1st round was only best-of-five then....Sabres swept with Game 3 win at home)

(Secure Democracy USA, 2022) Rural voters are more likely to vote Republican, with Republicans holding a 25-point advantage in rural areas (Pew Research Center, 2024) In 2020, 47% voted early or by mail (22% mail ballots), and Election Day in-person voting dropped 30% as they shifted to easier options.Rules like excuse requirements, witness/ID mandates, no drop boxes, or tight deadlines force difficult in-person trips or risk rejected ballots due to mail delays and isolation. Estimated turnout reduction: Rural counties with no-excuse mail voting had nearly 8 percentage points higher turnout (voting-age population) than those requiring excuses in 2020. Gaps were 5–7 points overall (strongest in the remotest counties) (Secure Democracy USA, 2022). Broader studies show mail voting expansions boost turnout 2–9 points (Brookings Institution; MIT Election Lab), implying similar drops from restrictions. So rural voters, who vote GOP by ~25pts really rely on Mail Ballots to participate in our constitutional republic. Why does MAGA want to suppress their own voters?

@Bulldogwgr @lordast111 Since the contact between stick and glove was outside the paint, couldn’t we argue the goalie interfered with Sammy’s ability to tip the puck? That said, I thought for sure it was goalie interference.

@lordast111 Because Samuelsson’s stick prevented the goalie from fully extending and his right skate was in the crease at the same time, I believe.
