They finished with the 8th best record in the league. I don’t think anyone would say they have the 8th best roster

The roster isn’t close.
They need another big time, elite scorer.
They need talent throughout the roster to be improved.

@Savageboston You know we knew this roster wasn’t enough at the beginning of the season… that’s what a rebuild is… we’re not winning next year either, the goal should be in two or three to make a legit run

You’re kidding… right? This franchise worships at the altar of the mighty dollar. They’re never going full Minnesota Wild or pulling a Florida Panthers and actually spending to win a Cup. Why would they? Bruins fans pack the Garden like it’s a playoff game in July. So ownership just sprinkles in just enough hope each year to make you squint and go, “hmm… maybe?” …and then—poof—same ending, different script.
