As part of the “Wanted in Windsor” initiative, Windsor Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of Preetkumar Shah, who is wanted in connection with a sexual assault investigation. In April 2024, Shah allegedly took an underaged female to his residence, where she was reportedly sexually assaulted. He was later arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age. He has since failed to attend court, and his current whereabouts are unknown. Shah is described as a 28-year-old East Indian male, approximately 5’6” tall, 198 lbs., with a medium complexion, medium build, black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on Shah’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit at 519-255-6700, ext. 4830. Anonymous tips may also be submitted through Windsor & Essex County Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS) or online at catchcrooks.com.
