Here’s why idgaf about MJ fans saying LeBron’s East was weak by using player accolades: In LeBron’s first ever finals series he faced a guy who put up a 24.7 GameScore. That’s higher yes HIGHER than ANY single GameScore that MJ faced in his entire career in a playoff series. In fact only 2 guys ever really got close. Ewing had a 24 GameScore once and the “unstoppable” Barkley had 23.6. He even had a higher GameScore than LeBron who had a monster series. Almost 36 8 and 6 on 60 TS% at 21 years old. And Arenas (and a 24.7 GameScore) isn’t even CLOSE to the best player LeBron ever faced in a series. Funny how Arenas overall is looked at like he was “just your average star” while MJ Stans call guys like Alonzo Mourning / Ewing etc superstars (who put up an 8.9 GameScore in 1997 against the Bulls, Ewing did the same in 91, all NBA Mark Price had a 12.8 in 92 and the list goes on and on and on) 😂 So even though I’d never use single players to evaluate a team or conference (especially not using accolades), if you look at MJs actual opponent performance they still lose that argument. 😂 Accolades, PPG, and winning with way better teams is all MJ Stans have.
