One thing I can say about FFXIV, is I've never seen a community just hate hate hate client side visual mods as much as this one does

And yeah I notice that very easily when a new patch breaks the add-ons as then all the multiLegend players suddenly play do badly. I noticed that very easily in Tyrant as they failed at even Weapons unless they were actively trolling the PF raid group. I dont have ACT so I can't judge their damage, but I can see in their poor skills at mechanics before and after updates.

@AlteraCephon @FaithGposes @Brendzun @arsenicknife Tbf youre mad that PC people have a shot caller 24/7. A shot caller in a raid group is gonna call each mechanic before it happens. Plus mods dont work for at least a week into a new raid.

@bootingdems @iDentity_US Has little to do with the engine. Most triple A companies have cross play function. Its adding the UI and Cross save features that are the issues. Fortnite had crossplay enabled a year or two before it was "possible" aka main stream. They accidentally enabled it for a day.

Crossplay is available on #thedivisionresurgence don’t know why it’s so difficult to implement it on #thedivision2 also… this would bring so much more to the game imo, hopefully it will arrive sooner than later even though it’s already been announced

@jamesbondlq @iDentity_US This is actually false, funny enough. Almost every game from these triple a studios have some sort of cross server feature built in mind. How polished and finished, thats a different story. The real issue is cross progression, bringing one profile to another profile.

@iDentity_US because they built resurgence with crossplay in mind. as the one other comment said division is an 8 year old game that they had no intention of putting crossplay in. they have to pretty much go back and recode the whole game to get it to work

Water heater died last night. 5 yrs old, still under warranty. Called Manufacturer, they said they'd send parts, but that'd be 4-6 days. Couldn't leave my family without hot water that long. So I called local repair company, they'd been there 5 minutes when they quoted me $1,100 to fix it. Wouldn't break it down to parts and labor until I leaned on them hard. - $300 parts - $800 labor For 30-40 minutes of work. For a water heater that cost me $700 with sales tax. I called the manufacturer back and told them the situation and that I planned on buying a new unit at The Home Depot and install it myself (I'd installed my current one). Rheem said no problem, take your old one with you and we'll give you full credit towards your new one. With the military discount from my buddy that was helping me, I was out of pocket a whole $65 when it was all said and done, and even traded up a model with a longer warranty. Thank you Rheem, thank you Home Depot. Fuck off predatory appliance repair companies.
