Polkadot just beat Ethereum in transaction growth this week. Then you see the number. 4,041 transactions. That looks like a ghost chain. I know. But you are reading the wrong data. For years, everything on Polkadot happened on the Relay Chain. Staking. Governance. Balances. All of it. Then in November 2025, Polkadot executed one of the largest on-chain migrations in blockchain history. 1.63 billion $DOT. 1.5 million accounts. Moved in under nine hours, without a single second of downtime. After that, the Relay Chain kept one job: keep the entire network secure and connected.
