What to expect tomorrow on the Clarity Act:
They’ll start at 10:30am with opening remarks. The Senate Committee will open up to reading the amendments, and they will allow a “short” debate per with a vote on that amendment.
If the vote fails, the amendment is discarded. If the vote passes they will add it to the existing bill.
They will do this until lunch.. take a break.
After they come back, they will continue all afternoon with the same process.
They will keep going until ALL amendments have been voted on.
After that, they will make a final vote to move it out of committee.
With the amount of amendments, I don’t see this ending early.. it could take all day.
It’s very possible they table it for a second day.
Either way, they currently have the votes for passing it out.

The man was among the passengers on a flight taken by one of the confirmed cases before their hospitalization, the Ministry of Health told the television channel BFMTV. He is therefore considered a contact person. The French Directorate General of Health has mobilized the French health authority Public Health France, the Coordination Centre for Epidemics and Biological Risks (Coreb), and the National Reference Centre for Hantaviruses to prepare the necessary monitoring and support mechanisms. The Operational Centre for the Regulation and Response of Health and Social Emergencies (Corruss) is also in contact with the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to create the conditions for the return of French citizens as soon as the health situation allows.

Abby Steiner 🇺🇸 is suing Puma, alleging that their racing shoes were defective and caused her injuries! Steiner has suffered from chronic, severe foot and ankle injuries, including Haglund’s deformity (enlarged bumps on the back of the heels) and subsequent Achilles issues. She has had multiple surgeries. According to the complaint, Puma along with Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix Ltd. were aware that the shoe designs and their carbon plate (CFP) and nitrogen foam (NF) technology could lead to bone stress injuries, increased risk of foot damage, and abnormal strain on runners’ feet. The lawsuit claims the shoes were unsafe for normal, expected use despite this knowledge.
