After losing power all day yesterday, i might actually get photos edited today from Lincoln. 😅

The High Limit Racing Series race last Thursday at Eldora had 260,000 viewers on FS1. This represents a 97 percent increase from the series’ average to date on FS1 (spanning four races).

@_EricArnold My phone lives on DND. The notifications literally used to give me anxiety. Making the switch to paying attention and responding when I was mentally prepared and ready was a game changer.

One of my jobs at Knoxville Raceway is social media marketing, so I literally spend a nice chunk of my life creating content to help promote our events. Or another point of view might be that I am trying to get people to look at their phones. I go to church today and Pastor preaches about the dangers of social media… including how our brains get so conditioned to notifications that we start feeling “phantom vibrations” in our pockets when our phones aren’t even buzzing, or even in our pockets at times. I’m sitting there thinking, “Yep… I know. I’ve felt that. And I’m a small part of the problem. The irony wasn’t lost on me. 🤣 I guess the lesson is that social media is a great tool, but we need to remember who’s supposed to be in control. Please use technology responsibly. Make sure you spend time face-to-face with family friends, and also try to schedule times each week where you put your phone away. I am so thankful that I have people in my life that lead me down the right path. But the Knoxville Nationals are nearing a sellout again and we have die casts and merch to sell too. 🏁

Eldora radar update. They just got hit with a pretty decent rain. The heavy stuff could miss the track…but have to watch what the storm in Greenfield, IN is doing (looks to be weakening) (I am not a meteorologist 😭)

The numbers that have been released in the past also support that there are most certainly new fans over on FS1. Can confirm my own friends have become fans of sprint cars this year - bought merch, and now gone to races, solely because they were able to access it on FS1, Amazon, etc.

@washboardabs72 It's on FS1 for the people that don't know about it or aren't shelling out $150 a year for Flo. My phone is busier on nights its on TV from people watching that otherwise wouldn't have access. I'll take that trade for a major race with six heat races any day.

Tonight’s format not having heat races is a huge miss for me. Fans are going to get to see more hot lap sessions than races tonight. I think locking in 4 and then running heat races lined up off points for tonight is the better option but that’s just me.
