I've dealt with this on a much smaller scale but find it very odd how some fans will get mad if you're not tweeting or doing content about the exact thing they followed you to see.
I've had people get mad at me for sharing dessert photos because they followed me for pit stops.

Just because Buxton first became known for his F1 commentary does not mean that it supersedes his current role as an IndyCar commentator.
Also, sports commentators are not robots and he should be free to tweet about massive food news if he wants without being put in a box.

I am a Motorsport enthusiast. I believe the majority of the reaction is due to how the tweet was phrased from the original author. I’m a major fan of Will’s, but he is widely known as an F1 guy - despite his current role with IndyCar. He is still on drive to survive. He still hosts an F1 podcast. I think most people thought it was presented as something that it was not. Right or wrong I don’t know, but that’s just my opinion.
