@CharlieM_OBE I passed the RN apprenticeship exam, 3½ yrs basic, to sea, considered trained after 7 years. Tiffies who ran & fixed the ships/subs/aircraft, not degree engineers. We ran & attended the specialist courses. We are no more, ships buggered, they fly in the manufacturers. Progress.
