It makes it as hard as possible for CITIZENS to register to vote—requiring them to go in-person to the clerk’s office. For folks in rural communities that likely means taking time off from work, finding child care, driving hours round trip, and spending gas, money, and time just to register to vote. You’d also have to apply for a passport or track down a physical copy of your birth certificate and bring it with you. Trump’s own commission found no evidence of widespread voter fraud, so let’s just be honest. This is happening because MAGA wants to make it harder for you to vote.
